I'm not going to comment, with fears of getting my head bit off again for speaking my mind...and being realistic I will just leave this stat for a little food for thought.

0.88 AEI 1.79 CI for those who don't know, Breeders Cup winner or not, that's as bad it gets. The Ontario Sires earnings should help get him closer to 1 though.

0.88 AEI? Damn, why wasn't he sent to Pennsylvania? ;)

By the way I didn't "bite your head off" (such an overly dramatic term), I stuck up for the connections of a fantastic race mare and a stallion that you called "nothing". You are entitled to your opinion, fair enough. I fully appreciate intellectual rapport between other PQer's. It's just my nature to defend others.

As far as his AEI, well that's pretty crummy. Truthfully, as far as knowing he covered 55 mares in KY last year I haven't looked at his stats.

Mr. Fipke is attempting to make him successful, and breeds a lot of good mares to him. Perfect Shirl comes from the Striking branch of La Troienne. Her dam has also produced Shakespeare and Lady Shakespeare, so it is not as if she was not bred to be a superior runner, being sired by a Champion son of Sadlers Wells. His stats are very bad, but this win may put a little wind in Perfect Soul's sails.

I guess alot depends on the stud fee but I am not a big fan of this horse, I also could not be less impressed with the facility they have selected for him to stand at.

I was glad to see Perfect Shirl run so well for both Attfield and Mr. Fipke, that man has supported Perfect Soul with lovely mares and deserves to do well. It's nice to see when someone clearly loves his horses.

The Perfect Shirl horse is so well bred so .... Perfect Soul, his runner's are late & he is not commercial at all so that limits the audience from 2 angles. Have nothing against him as a "horse" as a sire I wouldn't use him.. We had one that was enough. Love Roger A, & Mr. Fipke really has supported PS heavily with good mares.. its great that he has supported his own Stallion, its really the only way to try to make the Stallion. If the owner doesn't support his own stallion no one else can be expected to..

I believe he is standing for $7500

Re: Pa.. I was sad to see Toccet go to Bloody Oklahoma   I thought Ontario would have been Terrif for him :)

Have always liked E Dubai.. :)
