Fractured Navicular Bone

I have a 2 YO filly with a fractured navicular bone. Never been dead shot lame, only visible in a circle to the left (it's her right front, of course). Have her on stall rest for 5 months, and vet said 85% of them come back 100%. Any one have personal experience with this?

Had same thing happen to one of my fillies. She never came back 100% so I decided not race her.

Never had a horse with a navicular problem come back sound, at all. Not even for riding. Broodmare possible, managed with a bar shoe and all.

I'm not sure that I know anyone capable of doing something like that.

I lost one of both affected by that same injury, neither of them came back on the track
