Something about Zenyatta is that she has to have a stallion who will match her physical type. She's very large, so she needs a mid-range stallion in terms of size. Too small risks fish and fowl, too large risks a moose. Ideally her foals will be at most as large as she is, maybe even a little smaller. So there goes most of the Roberto line, Rahy, Point Given, Unbridled's Song.
The next thing is despite her success in north america on dirt and synthetic she is built like a grass horse meant to run a route of ground. The short-coupled, blocked dirt sprinter type doesn't match well, the risk there is a collection of spare parts. Put It Back doesn't match her on those grounds. Neither do Pulpit, Tale of the Cate, etc. Distorted Humor is probably the wrong type as well.
Tapit is a son of Pulpit but not really like him in type. Bernardini takes more after Quiet American than AP Indy.
