Elusive Quality---Yield to Faith, by High Yield
R sustained a fractured Pelvis while working at DM.
R was a type 2 FB, being inbred 3 X 4 Mr. P.---3 X 4 Sir Ivor---4 X 5 Secretariat---4 X 5 ND---5 X 5 Bold Ruler---5 X 5 Somethingroyal mare=Prince Rose NP outcross.
R had 27 crosses Ph. stallions & 15 crosses Ph. mares, both high figures
R inherited the same Ph. stallions & mares, that are found in those other FB, that sustained career ending injuries. They are:
Bold Ruler 2 crosses, Turn-to, Nijinsky, Mr. P. 2 crosses---Secretariat 2 crosses, ND 2 crosses, Nearctic, Nashua, Native Dancer, RAN, Storm Cat, Gold Digger, Natalma.

An fractured pelvis, is not the end of the world. It happens more on synth tracks with horses that are not trained ( or not long enough) over the track.
Synth tracks are suited for mostly horses that needs juice when they should be racing on turf.
Horses that likes soft turf tracks, should be benefitted most racing on synth
tracks.
And an horses does not have to be put down, it is rarely when that schould occur.

NFB inherit strength of bone thru their prolific crosses of those NP sire lines. Trainers & vets agree, we are inbreeding to the max, that is causing too many injuries.
Walter Solis trainer, said Regally Soul step into a hole, then was pulled up. RS was not injured.

WM is a type 1 FB, being inbred 4 X 5 Hail to Reason---5 X 5 Nearco---5 X 5 Turn-to.
WM has 23 crosses Ph. stallions & 11 crosses PH. mares in her 5 generation pedigree.
WM has inherited the same Ph. individuals of inbreeding & single crosses that have contributed to the most injuries & breakdowns in those FB.
We can see how dominant this inbreeding to one sire line has become. We are losing too many tb thru their inbreeding & single crosses of one sire line.
WM did not inherit a frail conformation thru inbreeding. Thats why this is such a suprise of her bone problems. When a FB inherits a frail conformation, one would expect to have bone issues.

Heavy use of steroids, are known to be detrimental to horse bone structure and there are more med,s which having the same effect.
Some families inherited these problems.
And no one is able to predict when it comes. As the outside does not tell what is inside.
Big bones, says nothing about the structure and composition from the bones itself.
There is however an strange skin disease that goes inside and is not visable on the outside. Resulting in deforming bones, joints, causing in humans, arthritis.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osteoarthritis.
I have seen numereous horses with a frail body structure performing excellent and high above average.
This nfb retired with an tendon injury:

awasome maria is an nfb with only one inbreeding to Buckpasser.

Awesome Maria has prolific crosses of NP sire lines, thru her mares & stallions. AM didnt have bone issues.
Those outcross NFB, inherit strength of bone thru their prolific crosses of those NP sire lines.
Cod Liver Oil, Butter, Calicum, Vitamins, Minerals, will build strong bones.
I didnt see any frail body structure 40 years ago. As the arrival of those FB didnt surface until the mid 80s.

But you know, what our dear Louis will tell us, @Ben:
- there are such strong NFB-influences in Famous Name via Ribot and Hyperion (High Hat, Vaguely Noble) that suffice to balance those FB-unsoundness-elements via the Ph-line-sires.
You see: soon we know the Louis-Phalaris-Fashion-bred-Theory (let's call it: LFPFBT) better than our dear Louis has ever done before.

There is of course somewhere an mystical source with upper gene quality in those so called nfb,s.
that,s why the phalaris influence is so strong nowadays.

.... and Hyperion was a brave little horse full of muscles and zest - aswell as Northern Dancer was.
Nevertheless, ere is another "Louis-FB", that won today's G1 at Munich with ease:

Whatever a "ped researcher" may be - I was a scientific man and a systems analyst long before this weird thread has started.
If you know my methods, expertise and experience, you, dear @Louis, could still become a researcher with a necessary ability to learn instead of repeating shit.
But I'm afraid, time is against you and much more hard and intelligent labour is necessary as you have shown here over the past some 6 years.
And as you have admitted: anybody can become a pedigree-researcher - this is not a degree of science or a matter that can be learnt in places of education - whatever a "ped researcher" may good for and all the damage that was done by so-called "ped researchers" to the breed.
You, @Louis, may be an upright person, but as we have seen, after some 850 pages, some of us know what you will write before you know it yourself - more subjectively well selected examples to support your strange thesis are not necessary any more. Message accompliced.
So, this thread can be closed - all what is to be said has already been said - no more wisdom and intelligence to expect.
