Inbreeding to Storm Cat

Postby LB » Thu Aug 16, 2012 6:52 am

I could not find the thread, but didn't someone ask about this recently, and whether or not it had ever been successful?

I just wanted to point out that BRIDGETOWN, winner of yesterday's Troy S. at Saratoga is bred 3 x 3 to Storm Cat (and 4 x 4 to Raise a Native.) He has raced and won at ages 2, 3, 4 and 5 and has won 8 races, 6 of which are stakes. His current earnings: $844,700.

Storm Cat Inbreeding

I know "Ingrid The Gambler" was a stakes winner at S.A. and is bred very similiar in that she is 3x3 to Storm Cat and 4x4 to Mr. P. Overall though, close inbreeding to Storm Cat has not proven very productive.
