You know, I really hope they don't take the same route that Zenyatta took. Staying out in California all the time except for that one race, running the same races over and over, of course you are going to win the same races when you have that talent, but this time, perhaps they can get the filly moving around some.

I always said I'd like to have seen Zenyatta run full out on the big Belmont track, but no, they had to stay basically strictly in California. Not even the Pacific Classic, so I'm hoping the different owner of this filly wants to move her about some.

If she gets good enough to make to to the BC Distaff at the end of the year and its NOT in California, is the trainer(s) going to balk at her leaving the state?

Karen, don't worry about the snide comments; I've had enough of my own just from asking some questons as well.

You mean Dottie Ingordo? She is married to John Shirreffs.

The final time under these circumstances was amazing.

Pretty impressive. Thanks for the link. It helped when maidens go 21 change; 45 and change; 1:09 and change. That said, any horse left by many lengths that wins has talent..

I also think Talamo is probably the best jock in the room for a lot of reasons but the main one is his patience. He could have easily panicked or given up and just gone through the motions.

Really well done.

Hi karenkarenn,
Because Frank Stronach usually gets what he wants:>) There is every indication he will begin rebuilding the grandstand at Gulfstream Park at the close of business this season. As he intends to put a bid in to have the BC there in 2015. TJ

SA got the cup again becuase if the best alternative

they couldn't go to churchill it would be 3 out of 4 years there

any polytrack /non dirt surface is off the table so no arlington and keeneland is not big enough anyway

and they really are shying away from smaller venues who can't "handle" that type of event like monmouth or lone star

and apparently NYRA people pissed in their fruit loops beucase they just refuse to give them the time of day anymore

i would be willing to bet next year's BC will be right back at churchill.
