i dont' blame the owners for dreaming of julia.. i mean that was pretty freaking flukish. rachel had done it like 4 times by that point but this was just her first. maybe she freaked or loved the surface you don't know
now if she puts away beholder and runs away and hides then you got to run her in the belmont being by AP Indy
i got a guy friend that works for oaklawn and knows a trainer pretty well down there. he told me something that made me say wow
Kentucky Changed their testing facility / company in 2010 at the end of the year
since 2010 todd pletcher's stats at churchill
2010-21 for 89
2011-6 for 60
2012-0 for 36
yeah i'm gonna pass on V man

I hear what you are saying B, but her form still holds up against the colts. In fact there are a couple other fillies in the Oaks that do as well. If you ask me, based on the competition and speed numbers the HARDER race looks to be the Oaks. She ran the same day as the Florida Derby. The same distance and she was 2 FULL SECONDS faster...TWO FULL SECONDS. It was her first try at 9f, what could she do going 10? Her connections are chickensh*t.
This is why I am not watching the Derby, I am so sick of in tact males not lasting through the year and racing at 4. Gah!!!!

I can't agree with that. If not for the new points system, they might well have been pointing Dreaming of Julia for the Derby. Odds are that they weren't positive about what they had until she destroyed the field in the Gulfstream Oaks on March 30th. (After all, she came in second in the Davona Dale in her first start of the year.) There just doesn't seem to have been a lot of time to try and earn the points needed to get into the Kentucky Derby.

My four are Will Take Charge, Goldencents, Revolutionary, and Mylute.
Horses out of the Florida Derby, Wood, Spiral, and Arkansas Derby either don't look fast enough or capable of getting the distance.

The talented ones will give you an early hint.
I’m playing Orb + Normandy Invasion with Palace Malice + Overanalyze over Vyjack + Golden Soul + Frac Daddy.
I think the time at Fair Hill has helped Vyjack and Garrett Gomez might be a perfect fit for him.
Golden Soul might just be rounding into form and figuring it all out / maturing at the right time. If he gets a strong closing jock, I’ll have to include him.
Frac Daddy might be a CD freak, so if he goes off at 60-1 or higher (as he should), I’ll probably toss him in underneath in exotics.
I am inclined to toss the FG runners, until we start to see some success in the Derby from that source, although I would like to see Tom Amoss and FG jocks like Rosie Napravnik or Shaun Bridgemohan have some success on the biggest of days.
I think GP and AQU favors horses with Early/Presser speed (like Verrazano and Itsmyluckyday), rather than Sustained types, so that’s why I favor Orb and Normandy on top. Plus the fact that nobody is riding better than Rosario right now.
I’ll let Borel beat me (again) on Revolutionary. He seems to just get lucky when I don’t bet him, but never comes through when I have $ on him, so I’m going to toss him. (That’ll probably come back to haunt me!)
