If one examines Graydar's list of broodmare sires
one thing is evident: good strong boned staying influences.
Whether this will materialized at the breeding shed is yet
to be seen but I am under the impressions that he may
end up becoming one of Unbridled's Song best stud sons.

Are his legs too fragile for carrying these heavy expectations.

LB if you are removing chips then there are obvious problems being addressed in a timely fashion, however given the stable's habit of racing them early and heading for the triple-crown trail their caution would indicate some problems. Cree's comment was entirely proper and as message board members are interested in the breed above and beyond the layman then I too harbour concerns. I loved Unbridleds Song despite the odd ball owner and love the way that his stock and close relative's foals move up on turf. Little Mike by Spanish Steps ,Unbridled Songs' unraced brother. Also I would have liked to have seen Eurosilver run on turf as all of his stock improve on grass too. I know that I am talking about cheaper horses but that's my zip code. I often wondered what Seattle Slew would have done on the turf as his sons stock also showed well on that surface.

I did something I've never done before and put all of the 2010 Unbridled's Song offspring in my stable mail. He has some nice stakes runners (Noble Tune, Pink Trillium, Betweenhereandcool, La Song, and Canticle), and some that haven't even started yet. I wanted to track their progress, so far a few of them have run on turf and done well.
I am looking forward to Gulfport's return.

It is sort of sad that at the end of his breeding career various breeding observers drifted away, arguably attributing soundness issues to his
éclat talents. In this sense the appearance of GRAYDAR is a hopeful good
sign on his merits.

I ask to our readers: Is there any top-notch juvenile or yearling you know about, waiting his turn to impress all of us as a last legacy from Unbridled's Song? Please mention names!

Who knows if this precocious front-running speedster will become
one of Unbridled’s Song best son at stud. It's still too soon for stud duties
but would like to read your opinions on this one. Alas he just lost the 2013 Metropolitan Handicap for the shortest of noses but this horse is for real.
Would appreciate your opinions.

I would love to hear more comments and opinions on Even The Score. We just got a cute 3 yo filly (gray, of course!) by ETS and this is my first experience with his offspring.

Even The Score is one of the best horses coming from Unbridled's Song in terms of career starts and durability; not to mention his beautiful pedigree. That sole point is sufficient merit for us to keep an eye on his stud career. But I haven't read any recent news on his latest progeny or career and I am wondering. Would really like to know.

Jessi P, can you share more on the physical of your grey [ ] filly.

Jorge I am so sorry that I didn't see this post before now - my apologies. We had that gray filly for a start or two and gave her away to the guy in the next barn down from us - how awful is it that I can't even remember her name?? I had to go ask Darren - LOL - her name was "Nothing Left To Lose." Correct filly - not very tall but well built. Sound, but not very fast LOL, which is why we gave her away.

I am not necessarily a fan of him but I am noticing that he is
creating certain kind of effervescence that may open new auspicious breeding avenues for him if mated with better top-notch mares. Am I correct to suggest that he is about to become a very solid sire?

I see your point regarding Will Take Charge, especially given he is only three. He may also have a major sire pedigree, given his grade 1 winning dam and the progeny she is throwing.

I think he is very attractive as a stallion prospect. Big, good looking. Top selling yearling. Grade 1 winner. Out of a multiple grade 1 winner who produced another G1 winner in Take Charge Indy. Successful from 8 to 10 furlongs. He's got Mr Prospector twice in his pedigree (4 and 5 generations back) both times through Fappiano, and Northern Dancer appears twice on his dam's side. It's fairly wide open to who he can be bred to.

His flaw may be that he doesn't have a lot of early speed, or that he took awhile to mature...but he still did well early in his 3-year-old season in winning the Rebel. Not entirely sure if Unbridled's Song is a bust as a sire of sires.
