Here's quite a surprise I woke up to this morning, considering the mare was due to foal on 23 April. Run Brother Ron X Found Her. Obviously the mare got bred on the foal heat after I specifically said "do not breed her on the foal heat".

Re: Surprise! Surprise!
Love the "J." Glad all went well. We had two such surprises in the past, both of which turned out well, thank goodness. Best wishes on a very bright future for her.

Baby J June 20th @ 3 months old. Great big nice filly. Best surprise in my life! Excellent disposition.
LOVES TO RUN, tears around like a lightening bolt.
If you're in Nor Cal, I'd consider taking a mare to Run Brother Ron, love all his babies I've seen. Oldest are yearlings.
Re: Surprise! Surprise!
22 months old, 16 hands even, sweet filly, just got her registered without a name, need a name that starts with a J to match the J on her forhead. Help me out.
Re: Surprise! Surprise!
Thank you
Re: Surprise! Surprise!
Submitted Al Jazeera to the JC, like the Arab news network, thought the name might appeal to some rich oil sheik at auction; name was rejected by JC. So, thinking All Jazz Era; phonetically the same, might pass the JC muster. Whatta you think?
Re: Surprise! Surprise!
If you are selling at auction you might be better to leave her unnamed. People prefer to name their own after buying and like ships and yachts it's considered bad luck by some to change the name. Now that you have made one attempt, you have staved off the $100 naming fee.
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....

Baby J galloping in Sacramento, still unnamed.

Jett N Joanne. Named in honor of my dear departed mother in law- Pedigree Analyist Joanne Voetsch.
Galloping at Golden Gate, everybody likes her and thinks she's a good one.

Re: Surprise! Surprise!
Why hasn't this horse posted a workout yet? Looks like she was broke in Sept of 2016.
Re: Surprise! Surprise!
I believe it can take quite a bit longer than four months to get from saddle broke to a first breeze! Horses do not read calendars and they all kind of have different schedules.
