Some fine company your filly is keeping there a long way from a cold evening at Dundalk.

You keeping her in training next year?
Just in case anyone has this printout hanging on their wall, best rip it down now and print out and pin-up the latest stakes stakes win instead.

Thanks everyone! Big step up, but, all being well, we are heading to the last G-1 for fillies and mares on West Coast for 2014: the Matriarch Stakes on 11/30.

Congratulations, DF, on an emphatic win, black type on her page and your astute selection and purchase.

Congrats DF. Great race.
Give the Pope and the King of England a horse and in thirty days, they'll be stealing halters.

Thanks Madelyn. As I said, the Matriarch is going to be tough. Real tough:

Best of racing luck, DF, in the Matriarch today. I'll be watching as I expect others here on the PQ forum will be too. It's a rare occasion for us to share in the fun and excitement of cheering on one of our own in a Grade I.
Cheers!

Re: Thoughts on this breeding plan please.
Thank you Patuxet. Very exciting. Unfortunately the race set up for the winner and she was allowed to set slow fractions on an easy lead on a track where speed has held up pretty well both on turf and synthetic.
Kent Desormeaux's horse cut QOTS off on the first turn and she had to check back to last, and then she ran into traffic coming round the final bend. But she ran a great race to be second.
We will probably give her a bit of a freshening now before bringing her back at Santa Anita in the Spring.

Congratulation! Excellent but frustrating race. Now that she's a proven Gr.1 entity I assume your breeding options have broadened.
