Can anyone help me. I am trying to find a mare I had a few years ago. Her name was Pining. I sold her to someone in the business and haven't seen anything about her since then. I heard through the grapevine he no longer has her but didn't say where it went. I don't think he ever bred her. Any suggestions?

Hi, another online forum (on the Chronicle of the Horse site) has a specific "Missing Horses" category to help in situations like this.

You do have to register to post but it is free and easy. It will get lots of views.

Another idea if you strike out there would be to run a classified ad in the Mid-Atlantic TB magazine, if you think she's still in this region.

Good luck.
