Its nice to see the best horse win. 1:55 is a great legit time. That was a huge move coming home. It would have been chaos if Rose and Alex went down.

Giacomo ran his best and scrappy T ran huge. I think Giacomo and AA will be there in the Belmont Stakes. 12 furlongs will be to long for Scrappy T. The rest of those also rans stink. Where was Wilko, Closing Agruement,

When he almost went down I thought it was going to be all over for many of them. He shuffled his way all the way up there only to have that happen, and then on to win! What guts and determination.

Holy... I can't believe that he didn't go down...

That was incredible, and then he accelerated and just drew off. I don't know how he did it. Talk about sheer guts and heart carrying a horse to win, and all I can say is, I bet they're really happy they stuck with Jeremy, what a ride...

I think we just saw the divisional champ come into his own, folks. Magnificent ride from Rose, too, who now appears to be a budding superstar in the jockey ranks.

I think that Scrappy T should have been disqualified. Afleet Alex sure has guts, that was incredible!!

Also give credit to Dominguez and Rose for not allowing a catastrophe to happen. Can you imagine if both went down what other horses might of gone down at the top of the lane? This could of been a major spill but thank god it wasnt .

Awesome ride by Rose.........

The only horse that Scappy T would of cost a place would of been Afleet Alex and since AA ran first he was allowed to remain 2nd. Stewards made the right call.

Afleet Alex showed us his true grit in a sparkling performance.

AA had that determination and desire to overcome the trouble and win much the best.

The final time as super fast, as those critics that said this 3yr. old crop is medicore, this time they were wrong.

Congrats to all AA connections.

I cannot believe that finish! It was horse racing at its best!!!
I don't believe it was Scrappy T.'s jockey's fault. The stewards were right in their call.
Thank goodness no one went down!
Alex is as an honest racehorse as they come.
Good race for Giacomo, he came in third.

If Afleet Alex comes out okay, and I think that's a big IF, and they take on the Belmont, the crowds ought to be as big as for a triple crown contender, just to see this guy run.

Since I bought part of a half-sister to Scrappy T about 3 hours before the Wood, I'm feeling pretty happy right now...
