Okay, it's our turn!

Dance Across Texas is entered Friday evening at Sam Houston in race 4. This is his second race. In his first try he was 4th in a MSW with 11 in the race, so we do have somewhat high hopes for him.

His pedigree is on this site.

Here is his "baby" picture. Some of you may remember him from when I asked help on naming him.

elvis - couldn't make it out to the track last night but saw in today's Chronicle that your "Dance Across Texas" just missed out on the show....fourth isn't bad at all for a first time start.

How'd he run his race? Did he come out of it OK?

Hope all is well and will be watching for his next try - a bit wiser for the experience of this race no doubt.

Thanks to all,

He came out of the race just fine and we are looking for a little more distance.

He will eventually be pointed to a route on the turf, but we need to work him into it.

We will keep you posted.

Elvis, that is a beautiful picture, what a poser! Maybe he'll like posing in the Winners Circle when he figures it all out. I know my past horse named Catch and Release loved the camera.

Good job to you and DAT - thought he had them - he will be tough his second try at the distance.

He came out of the race in great shape. LT, the jockey, thinks that he eased up once he made the lead. He told my trainer that if he had ridden him before he would have known better and never would have let him relax.

He should take alot out of that race. We are going to look for a race on the turf for him, that is what he is bred for. We will give him 3 weeks to a month before his next race, and I will keep you all posted on his progress.

Sunday at Sam Houston, let's try again. And looks like more slop that night. Yee-haw, he liked it last time. Since we cannot seem to get them to write another turf race, I suppose this will be the next best thing. There was a MSW also going a mile that we entered, but only 3 head entered in it. Why would you not enter that race and instead choose a $35,000 Maiden Claimer? Just does not make since, as it would be the same horses at a better purse. Oh well, at least we are in.

Good luck - if we had account wagering here in Texas, I'd place a bet on him to win!
