Beautiful, great body and stride. I live not to far from Northview. I have pics if you would like them.

Is there a mare boarding farm close to Northridge that has a reasonable daily rate? I'm not sure what Northridge's board is these days but when I asked several years ago it was way up there.

Yes, I know of a couple of them. Charter Farms, in Galena, MD, where I currently have a stallion (Country Only) standing and Williams Grove nearby and Top Notch Farm (previously Plain Tree). If you have a chance take a look at Country Only. I don't exactly how much Northview charges for boarding mares, although I have heard the same as them being high.

Domestic Dispute is a gorgeous horse. He's about 16.1 - 16.2, chestnut with a blaze and white on all four legs. He is beautifully balanced with muscular shoulders and rear. Legs are pretty much correct, although he does turn out a little bit in his right front. His head is a touch plain. He has good bone.

Boarding rates at Northview are in the neighborhood of $25/day for a mare with foal. Then you have additional charges for farrier and vet work. If you are thinking of boarding "off campus" and shippping in to breed, it may be harder to get your mare covered than if she is there on the farm. I know last year going to Lion Hearted, you needed to call about a week out to get your mare on the breeding schedule. This was not a problem for resident boarding mares.
