Postby Laura » Tue Dec 20, 2005 5:03 pm

Azeri
congaree
Easyfromthegitgo
Funny Cide
offlee wild
rockport harbor
ScrappyT
tapit
with anticipation

With that list above^^^ Could someone please tell me what these horses are doing. I know some of them retired to the breeding shed..if thats the case, could you tell me where they retired to.

What are the plans for Giacomo the 2005 derby winner?

I saw a quick thing about him on Wire 2 Wire today. Will he be back for the 2006 season?

Does anyone know how Silver Charm & Charismatic are doing in Japan?

Thanks & Happy Holidays.

With Anticipation is in retirement at his owner's farm, I believe.

Giacomo is going to race in 06, and is at hollywood pk, working toward his comeback.

Azeri was bred to Storm Cat but failed to conceive this season, I don't know where she's being kept.
Scrappy T has been racing in a lot of lower-level stakes in the past few months, hasn't won many but has come close.

I thought Azeri didn't get in foal this year. Scrappy T just raced recently - a week or two ago? - and will be back next year. Rockport Harbor is also being pointed for a 2006 racing campaign.

I could be remembering this wrong, but I thought Azeri was boarded at Ashford.

Out of curiousity would it weird them out at Ashford to ask to visit Azeri? Do people do that often with mares? I can't at the moment but just curious.

With Anticipation

Laura,
I get to see this handsome old fella frequently since we've got a broodmare and her '05 yearling turned out a farm next door to where he is.
He's absolutely stoney white, turned out with some other horses who worship him on a daily basis.
They tried to teach WA to be a foxhunter, but he was just too strong and would occasionally refuse a fence...
So he's happy just puddling around the field for now. I'm sure someone gets on him once in awhile, if they've had their Wheaties. :D
