Thanks for the info. Shame he seems to pass on those knees. That's the kind of information that is more important than picking apart every piece of a stallion. And that won't even help in the show ring. On the other hand if he throws nice rugged horses with nice minds and you just want a pleasure horse non conf. hunter (light riding) maybe the knees wouldn't be so bad.

NO ONE said he PASSES on his knees....you will need to personally talk to Sue Hubbard yourself to see what kind of foals he throws. I sent you a pm with her phone number to contact her and find out the truth for yourself.

Whenever you bred to any stallion it is best to find out what his faults are (he will have them) and make sure your mare doesn't have the same.

He is horridly tied-in at the knee. This you see from a side shot regardless of how they are set-up. - This flaw leads to slab fractures of the knee. Many of the TB have it to one degree or another. This guy has it fairly bad.

Did a bunch of research on it recently due to a personal experience.

LOL I saw your PM first before I saw your post, now I understand! It seems from the comments about his foals that he does pass on some knee defects. You'd have to have a mare with perfect knees (and history of producing same) to breed to a stallion with a bad knee. He's still gorgeous to me though and while he may not be the best choice for a racehorse sire I think he'd make a nice sport horse for an amateur.
