Where are these 3yos?

Postby StrawberryFelidos » Mon Jan 16, 2006 9:33 pm

I have been trying to follow some (now 3yos) since they sold at Keeneland September in 2004, but these ones I have never heard so much as a wimper from- anybody know what happened to them?

Art Critic (Fusaichi Pegasus-Performing Arts) filly, sold to BBA Ltd. for $200k
Bold and Free (Giants Causeway-Sweeping Story) colt, sold to John Ferguson for $800k
Maugusta (Saint Ballado-Heraklia) filly, formerly named Saint Larkspur, sold to Dapple Bloodstock for $180k
Grass Broad (Fusaichi Pegasus-Magic Broad) filly, formerly named Wings of Pegasus, sold to Hanzawa Ltd. for $350k
Usurpator (Unbridled’s Song-Zoftig) colt, formerly named Medieval Feast, sold to Lane's End Bloodstock for $650k
Seresa's Spirit (Rahy-Unbridled Elaine) filly, purchased by D. Wayne Lukas for $260k

(all purchases occurred at Keeneland September Yearling Sale 2004)

bold & free ran 3 times for Godolphin in England last year, finishing second on his debut, winning his maiden and then coming 7th in a Group 3 over a mile at Salisbury "didn't see out this longer trip as well as anticipated, fading having still had every chance towards the outer over 1f out". He's not very good.

Art Critic is now owned by the Sangster Family and trained by Peter Chapple-Hyam. He finished last of 12 on his debut in a Newmarket maiden. He's not very good either.

Aww, let's not say that they're bad- let's just say they "need improvement"
Glad to see they started, at least.

Now I'm getting really curious as to where that Seresa's Spirit filly is- she's three years old now, and you'd think D. Wayne would push her for something. Ah, well- maybe she's destined to be an unraced broodmare.
