I didn't realize Spectacular Bid had a 2003 crop. He has a son in there.
Also, Peace Chant is out of Safely Kept.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention the Spectacular Bid colt. Thanks for bringing it up--I knew I was forgetting something. I had no idea there was an '03 crop either. That's pretty cool though. How many were in it?
The Peace Chant though I didn't know about--that's another good one to watch. Are there any horses out there that anybody wants to put us wise to as a late nominee possibility? There's always somebody who should've helped themselves out and paid $600 instead of $6000. At what point do you have to pull a B. Wayne Hughes and pay a fortune to supplement?

To my astonishment, when I checked this database, I saw there were 2 '04s listed, in addition to 5 '03s. And, actually, the one who is nominated, Favorite Bid, isn't in the database yet. Go figure. Old Bid stayed busy right up to the end. If memory serves, though, he was siring more sporthorses than racehorses the last few years.
I think March 25 is the last day to nominate for $6000. I know B. Wayne can afford the $200K or whatever it is, but I wonder if he regrets shelling that out. I keep waiting for Greeley's to do something else...so far am disappointed.
