Last year was the first time that we bred a mare - and had been waiting on pins and needles. Last Tuesday, our mare, who had been a week overdue, produced a neat little filly - with two white socks (hind) and crescent-shaped blaze/marking on her forehead. Mom has apparently taken well to her new job, and the girls have arrived safely in KY so mom can be bred back to Ecton Park.
I'm trying to figure out the picture thing. The best information I can provide at this time is the pedigree on our new filly: Outflanker - Verbal Inspiration by Bates Motel.
The little ones are really amazing. Hope springs eternal.
It's a girl!!!

Two pictures of our filly, taken when she was a day and a half old, are posted at www.nybreds.com in the "Foaling Barn" section. The pictures are listed under "Mill Creek Farm."
