My horses Mother?

Hello I recently got a filly her mother is belived to have been sent to the killers in 2003 I found a mare Pie Rise that I belive is her mother is there anyway to find out if Pie Rise was sent to the killers in 2003?Please help me figure out her mother.I would liek to know her backrounds so I can regsiter her with PHR and TASR.So please tell me if Pie Rise was sent to the killers.

Pie Rise has an unnamed 2003 Oregon bred foal by Abstract. Perhaps the farm where Abstract is located can tell you more about Pie Rise --> http://www.crosscountryranch.com

Well I already know the lady that owns that farm the thing is is she did not own the stud that season and someone rescued my filly gave it to the lady that owns cross Country Ranch and now I own her.Thats who I got my filly from is the lady that owns Cross Country Ranch.I also got a foal report from the Jockey Club that told me about Pie Rise thats why I think its her.The lady that owns Cross Country Ranch was told her mom was sent to the killers so im trying to figure out if Pie Rise was sent to the killers.Also it would be great to see a picture of Pie Rise know were I can find one.But anyways I need some more help so guys and gals please continue to post please and Thank You.

If your filly was bred by Steven Peterson, or Pie Rise at any time was owned by him, feel confident that Pie Rise was, indeed, sent to the killers. That's what he does with his mares if they're old or don't get in foal. Mr. Peterson also is a former part-owner of Abstract.

Pie Rise was sold at an Oregon Breeders Association sale in September, 2001. The buyers were listed as Allen Floyd, M. Stafford, A. Guier from Othello, WA. They paid $2,600 for her.

She didn't have a (registered) foal in 2002, then she had the unnamed foal by Abstract in 2003. She's had no foals since then. That information is available here --> [url]nominations.breederscup.com/bcFoalVerificationForm.cfm[/url]

How old is your filly...? Is she the 2003 foal by Abstract...? If that's your filly, she's already on file with the Jockey Club.

Her 2003 foal isnt registered etheir.Its now a little confusing if Steven Peterson is involved as well.So now that Steven Peterson,Allen Floyd, M. Stafford, A. Guier are all involved now.How can we get the answer?Is there a way to get in contact with any of these people to find out?

Well my filly is a 2003 filly the lady I got her from who now owns Abstract said that the guy that rescued her told her that her sire was Abstract and that her mother was a Thoroughbred that had been sent to the killers thats all she remembers.If I can get in contact with any of these people that would be great.[b/]

They have DNA from the presumptive sire and dam, and it doesn't sound like you're going to be able to get that any other way. They also have (per the APR) a Live Foal report for an '03 filly x Abstract - Pie Rise x Rising Market.

I have to pay for all that I already got all the info I can get from them and thats the Sires Crop Analysis on the Stallion Abstract I have all the info I really need just need to get in contact with thoes people.
