First starter tomorrow = 2nd

My boy Power Cut (the horse I posted the pics of the clip off) is having his first start tomorrow.

He's won his only trial by 2.5 lengths so fingers crossed he can do the business on race day.

Dags went a very good race. Slightly slow out (As expected) gradually moved up on the turn. Hit a little trouble getting out from behind horses and flew home to get 2nd. The leader lead from start to finish and just had got too far in front by the time my boy got going.

But for his first start I was very happy.

The jockey is one of NZ's best and said he is a very nice horse. Said to line him up over 1400m or 1600m next and he will win. Give him a call as he wants to ride him. :)

So a very good day and my bday :lol:
