Exotic Wood (1992)

Postby Linda in TX » Fri Jul 14, 2006 5:57 am

I pulled up this stakes winning mare's pedigree this morning to find most of it missing. It's beyond my understanding how big chunks of her pedigree can need "researching" since she's from a prominent and distinguished family.

The Db wouldn't allow me to fix it -- actually, I believe the message said, "The entries connected to Exotic Wood's first two dams are so screwed up it'll take you an hour to make it right..."

So I'm punting to anyone who likes projects like this one (which shouldn't even need to be worked on to begin with, since the pedigree and family's progeny record was entered correctly long ago).

Linda TX,

Brand of Elegance 1979 by Secretariat ex Princess Ribot.
Is that what you show needing to be added.

The problem is that Brand of Elegance has offspring so can't be edited by mere mortals.

This is a job for a higher authority.
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....

I'm probably the lowest of authorities....but the pedigree's fixed.

This is the second such case I've seen this week - both involving a Secretariat mare. ::::sigh:::: Looks like I got another project on my hands.

Thank you, Lucy.

Miles needs to install a roving band of pit bulls to bite off fingers that tamper with the Db...

Can you check Captivating Gal too? (1980bf x Secretariat - Princess Ribot x Ribot). TIA
