Advice on a couple matings

I have a Beau Genius mare named She's Pure Genius who is currently in foal to Blumin Affair, looking toward next year I am wanting to breed her to Slew City Slew as he seems to fit her well both pedigree and size-wise. Genius is a very correct mare and the foal would be 3/4 to MGSW Sis City. Any comments on this pairing would be appreciated.

Now, the mare I'm having more trouble with is an Our Gary mare named Harolds Angelsings, she is big 16.3 hands, has good conformation, and is open. I have been looking at perhaps Out of Place or Sky Classic for her. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Hmm.. 3/4 sister.. I always thought siblings were only calculated when they shared a part of a damline. Oh well.

Your mare Harolds Angelsings.. goes nicely with Swain at Shadwell.

Madelyn, that may be the case on the 3/4 thing... I am still learning and was going by what pedigreequery showed under siblings for a test mating... 3/4 included Sis City.

If anyone can please confirm what the requirements are for 3/4 sibling, as I am still learning and don't want to go around looking even more foolish than I really am.... What I did was added a test horse to pedigreequery with sire Slew City Slew and dam She's Pure Genius, so that I could see the line breeding and things of that nature (I removed the test horse as soon as I was done seeing what I needed to see). On the siblings report it showed Sis City when I set the option to 3/4.

Just lookin' for clarification.

Have you considered Belong to Me? He is $12,500 at Lanes End which is the same price as Sky Classic. If you do this you will double on the good mare Straight Deal. It would be a very good breeding.

Old Goat, I had not, but now I am! Also, after doing a little research I see that Icecapade and Northern Dancer were 3/4 brothers and did not share tail-female line, so I clarified my own question.
