Rotten New Year's Eve

Postby madelyn » Wed Jan 03, 2007 11:44 am

Belle Masque aborted the evening of New Year's Eve, a big gorgeous black colt, only problem he was seven weeks early and dead. Twisted cord. Poor Belle...

Oh, Madelyn, I'm SO sorry!! It's an awful feeling isn't it. Glad, though, that your mare is alright. Best of luck trying again.

Oh I'm so sorry. I'm assuming the mare is o.k. Such a sad New Year's Eve for you.

sorry to hear about your loss, we are getting close to the time our mare aborted last year .Everyday I take a deep breath in when I see the foal still lively inside her. I will never forget that loss, and I am truly saddened  for you. Hope the rest of your year is successful.

Madelyn--I am so sorry...this time of year I have a love/hate relationship with going out to the barns. I hope that Belle is OK.

I'm just seeing this, I somehow missed it. I'm sorry to hear that Madelyn. 2006 pretty much sucked. Let's just hope that 2007 is better for everyone.

Oh **it Madeline - sorry to hear about it. I just saw your post. I know how you were looking forward to this foal - as you are all of them - sucks I know. Hope the mare is okay and will be ready to breed soon. Hugs to you!

Just thought I'd stop by to see if the members had any new foals this year. So sorry to hear about the loss of this colt, Madelyn. Hope the mare is doing well. 2006 was a terrible year for many of us, foal-wise.

Now that it's 2007, here's hoping it will bring much better luck.
