Gelding at risk needs home asap

Postby Arctic Cielo » Thu Jan 11, 2007 2:01 pm

I have a friend that boards horses. The owner of a horse is taking this gelding to the auction this weekend, so I thought I would post about him. Hopefully someone can provide a good home for him.
He is a gorgeous 7 year dark bay with a huge star. I am not too sure about his soundness. He stands a good 15.3H and is quiet to ride.
The barn owner and I have no control over this horse. The owner of the horse would take $350 for him.
I know he would be at risk for slaughter. Its winter and not many people are buying horses. he is a good weight and is well taken care of. Please let me know if you are interested and I can forward the information to you.
Or call 586-873-3134
Thanks for looking.

Would the owner consider donating him to a non-profit for a tax writeoff?

Is he an OTTB? If so, please contact CANTER Michigan - they may be able to help:

he found a GREAT new home!
