Leamington's first American-bred starter and winner by 12 lengths of an unusual $10k maiden match race at Jerome Park on June 2, 1869. The race was arranged while the youngsters were yearlings.
While training at Saratoga on the morning of July 30, 1869 in preparation for another match race (forfeited as a result), veered into the rail and was killed instantaneously by a large chunk of the fence impaled in her chest. Named for owner Cameron's young daughter.
