| Foundation Mare Family 58
Family 58 is a small family but is surprisingly durable given its mainly tenuous extension of the maternal line through a number of generations, and survives for almost 200 years to the 1860s. The only horse of significance in the family is the high class racehorse Royal George (1765 King's Plates Newcastle and Carlisle, Great Subscription Purse [5yo division] York)
