Imported by John Lindsay, 20th Earl of Crawford, one of the founding members of the Highland regiment which later formed part of the Black Watch. He was purchased by Mr. Stamford after Crawford died in 1749
He covered at Newmarket at a fee of 1 guinea
He sired a couple of winners of minor Fifties; and Aura, the dam of Genius (1759 King's Plate Salisbury) and of Juniper (prolific winner between 1756 and 1760, principally 1760 Jockey Club Plate).
