We stand 2 stallions - graded stakes-winning sprinter Mountain Top, whose first foals arrived in 2008:
And Sir Juli Go, who was represented in the eventing world in the young horse series this year:
While we will stand each to outside mares, given the quantity of stallions who moved to PA & the quantity of PA mare owners who still prefer to breed to KY sires, it made sense to commit our money to buying mares who match Mountain Top, rather than advertising & hoping for the right mares' owners to find him while he is still a new regional sire:
This is his very small first crop. We're pleased [and a little sorry I'm not a better photographer]:
Filly out of Compelling Song, whose half-brother Jump for Joyeux set all-weather & turf sprint records in 2006 & 2007, one at Turfway & the other at Mountaineer:
Colt out of Nadine's Cape, by Cape Town, from the family of late FL sire, Tour d'Or:
Filly out of Saratoga Sass by Northern Ice, from the family of Vosburgh-winning sprinter, Fabulous Strike [we couldn't get her to stop running long enough for a still shot!]:
