Here are my selections for Friday's races.
I am including the Marathon (race 5), as that used to be part of the event.
In each race, I list a favorite I like as well as a longshot I think could come in underneath, to spice up the exotics.

race
5 #7 - Hard Aces, #2 - Infobedad
6 #2 - Happily (IRE), #5 - Ultima D
7 #3 - Sharp Azteca, #9 - Battle Of Midway
8 #6 - Masar (IRE), #14 - Rajasinghe (IRE)
9 #5 - Elate, #8 - Romantic Vision

There are so many reasons to get involved in the wagering for the BC, class horses, owners, trainers and jocks, not to mention the handle, so I will post Friday's picks today, along with my Ladies Classic/Classic doubles.

Race 6
2 Happily
11 Rushing Fall
8 Significant Form

Race 7
6 Mor Spirit
3 Sharp Azteca
8 Accelerate

Race 8
1 Mendelssohn****
2 Untamed Domain
9 Encumbered

Race 9
5 Elate
4 Abel Tazman
2 Stellar Wind

Ladies Classic/ Classic Double 2,4,5 with 1,5

As always, may they all have a safe trip and good luck to all.

***After further review I have edited this post to select Mendelssohn as my number one pick for the JV Colt Turf. This horse is kin to Beholder and Into Mischief that cost 3 million as a yearling. I do not believe that his connections would ship all the way to California without signs that he is ready to run to their expectations. I might end up with egg on my face, but it certainly would not be the first time and will not be the last.

I am super happy to see Battle of Midway win that! I have been high on him all year... and then completely ignored him in this. Didn't think he had the speed to compete here. Boy, was I wrong. I REALLY like that horse. :-)
Wow, did the Met Mile just ruin Mor Spirit or what?

Hi Cree,
Yes, I allowed him to get away also...and we both thought he had ability....credit to Hollendorfer's training ability. Mor Spirit hasn't been right, a shame he ran this bad though. I was going to throw him out then chickened out. How about Mendelssohn, looks like a really nice horse and DDT rang his bell loud and clear!. TJ

Leslie's Lady - what a producer!!! That's another nice juvenile.

I liked him, then changed my mind. Woops. What a fantastic day it has been.
