The maternal line of one of these mares has produced numerous top class horses and classic winners including the great Lexington (16 times Leading Sire in America), Baden-Baden (1877 Kentucky Derby), Leonatus (1883 Kentucky Derby), the outstanding Luke Blackburn, The Bard (1886 Preakness), Damrosch (1916 Preakness), Dauber (1938 Preakness) and Puissant Chef (1960 Prix Royal-Oak, Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe)

The maternal line of the other Jack of Diaminds mare has also produced numerous top class horses including Comanche (1893 Belmont), Commando (1901 Belmont, Leading Sire 1907), Coventry (1925 Preakness), Bally Ache (1960 Preakness) and Victory Gallop (1998 Belmont)
