and 3rd dam of the great racemare Fashion (winner of 32 of her 36 career starts including defeating the mighty Boston, Fashion representing the North in the famous North v South match race on 10 May 1842 at Union Course, Long Island, New York, Fashion winning by 35 lengths setting a new world record of 7:32.5 for a four-mile race)
