In May 1754 he was beaten by Aaron in 3 severe heats, the closeness of the finishes of the heats leading to Aaron only being awarded the 3rd heat and the race after a 4 month deliberation by a disinterested party (Isaac Tarratt, an Epsom linen draper). Later the same year Little Driver beat Aaron (rec 7lbs) in 3 heats at Maidenhead, both of them falling after the finish of the 1st heat due to the crowd closing in on them, a greater number of "Sportsmen" being present than ever before
The horses which Little Driver beat in his career won a total of 203 Plates between them
Little Driver and Gustavus were excluded from running by the terms of a race at Guildford in 1752 due to their superior form
He made virtually no mark at stud
Died at Sutton, Surrey in 1767
