Established an American maternal line of [probably] Family 2 that survived until the 1950s, although uncertainty surrounds her pedigree. One researcher, Skinner in 1832, proposed that Mary Grey was a daughter of Roundhead out of Ringbone. This was adopted by Bruce for the American Stud Book in 1873, well over one hundred and thirty years after her birth
Imported to America where she is ancestress of high class horses and stallions
